SAT REGISTRATION: SOME IMPORTANT GUIDELINES FOR 2007-08 The College Board Suggests Students Register ONLINE @ www.collegeboard.com 1. College Board materials (for online or paper registration) are available in Guidance. 2. To avoid confusion, give your name exactly the same way on all College Board forms. 3. Keep an account of your registration number on each testing date and begin keeping a file organizing all materials used for the college application process. 4. Keep a record of the 4 or more colleges you send your scores to. 5. West Bridgewater High School code: 222 320 6. If you plan to take the SAT Subject Tests, you must take these on a separate test date, and you must submit a separate registration form. 7. Test Center Codes: Bridgewater State College – 22-220, Brockton High School – 22-232, Stoughton High School – 22-780
8. Check your calendar to be sure you are free the day you sign up for the SAT exam. 9. SAT Questionnaire: #8 – cumulative average (GPA) – should be a general average of your grades so far. 10. Fees = $43.00 for SAT Reasoning Test. SAT Subject Test =$20.00 basic registration fee with fees added according to the specific Subject Test taken.
11. Deadlines: Postmarked by 5:00 pm or you will be billed for late fees. 12. Preparing for the Test: Take the sample test beforehand at collegeboard.com. Get a good night’s rest before the test; you must be awake, fresh, alert and on time. Arrive at the test by 7:45 a.m. (If you are using paper registration, sample test booklets are available in guidance.) 13. On the day of the test you will need your admission ticket and acceptable identification, two #2 pencils, an eraser and a calculator. 14. If using paper registration, you must use a # 2 pencil – fill in corresponding ovals under each letter; erase all errors completely, fill in the information on the envelope, check test date and affix label that matches the month of your test date. Check made payable to “The College Board”. Do not staple check to registration form. IF POSSIBLE, COLLEGE BOARD REQUESTS THAT STUDENTS APPLY ONLINE.
